Inner Spiritual peace or the blissful in them self. These words themselves have the power to express human feelings. Those who are blissful with nature and close to nature are inspiring many of us. They love nature and their presence is loved by nature. They don’t need any dress to show others and live their life with minimum requirements. Those places where the common man is afraid to go during the days, those blissful persons have the guts to go there in dark nights.. They haven’t learned from the schools as they learn from nature. Though schools are teaching us that discipline we need in life but those are learning the discipline from nature. They know the ultimate pronunciations from nature and are very well aware about the future.
Today I want to describe those two great blissful characters of Geer-Gujarat. The way Girnar changed my perspective about life was invaluable. During the visit of Ginar in 2010, I heard about the fearless character who is a tea seller. The hotelier sells tea right under the mountain Girnar. Girnar is covered with 36 kilometres parikrama(Orbit) route and lots of people doing parikrama(Orbit) during Diwali times. This parikrama route is covered with more dense jungle where anyone would fear to go alone there in daytimes. That tea seller does Parikrama alone every month on the dark moon’s night with only one stick and torch. He knows well about the wild life culture there on route and also knows about those monks living in the deep caves. He brings some groceries for the monks with him and he indirectly knows the shortage of the groceries to monks. He is doing these things like his duty and he feels pleasure for himself. He dedicates his life to nature. He goes around lots of stones during his every month’s journey, but he never desires to colour one stone and sit there by being a monk. His life talks about the monkful journey. The people like these are monks from their inner peace who are always in conversation with nature.
The other person is a strong man living in the small village of geer region. His name is Abhaybhai. Once, I went to Girnar to make drawings of it. Abhaybhai helped us to find the spots on the parikrama route. He is a brave person who loves Lions and Nature. He is unmarried and never wanted to marry because of the love he has for nature and wildlife! Though he served his mother till the end of her life. He made food for her and worked for Nature’s needs and for wildlife. He is much anticipated towards nature and animals to protect it. He lives in village Ajab where lions are often found near to his house. He waits to see them and observe their language. His knowledge about wild animals impresses the officers of the forest department. He often comes with tourists to guide them but never expects to go professionally for more money. Many times the forest department told him to join them and have some good salary but he was not interested to do it for a long time. His requirements are less but he is concerned about the requirements for Nature and wildlife.
Both persons are really great lovers of Nature. In Geer there are many characters like these who are brave, live, lovers and are knowledgeable in their own way. Both are doing their job, connected to social life and with Nature too. They balance their life with enough earning and concern about nature and it’s needs. They don’t have any uniform to show others about their inner piece because the inner piece doesn’t achieve by dressing any cults or being a monk!! On one hand they have transactions or communications and on the other hand have benevolence. These characters are having an experience of inner peace of them-self and of Nature too.
Nature has been doing benevolence without any uniform.
Update and up gradation is a natural clock of our life. Even if we are doing nothing in a day we feel something up for once in a day. We feel that things are really going fast and this fastness always pushes us to do better and get better the day after tomorrow. In the update we always miss some wonderful moments of our life from the past. Some college students miss school days, school children miss childhood days, some married miss single days 😀 .
At one time I had been to Girnar with some friends. Friends need to shut some places in Girnar for the documentary film. I was there as a much familiar person to Girnar. I was just 20 years old and not much of a busy person that time and even today too. I take those chances to go out in nature and feel better. We reached there in the evening and went to one aashram. Those saints welcomed us and we put our bags in a room. We took dinner and went to meet the chief monk. We had some spiritual talks about Girnar and understood the way of their cult. Suddenly the other monks called the chief for some prayer and they joined to sing at one corner there. Music touches me a lot and the effect without any loudspeakers is always precious. They were singing and we enjoyed some time. There was an older person with us on that trip and we decided to bring one folk singer Nugaa Bhagat of Junagadh. We knew each other for more than a year. We called him after 10:PM and requested him to sing for us that night. He said yes without any hesitations and took him to ashram by our car. There were no instruments, no Microphone, no lights but only a tone of Nugaa Bhagat. He has his “Ektaro” (one string instrument) with him always. He sang with it there. He sang the whole night till 4 A.M. Four monks and we three sat there to hear those ultimate tones. Girnar was in the background and it was the rainy season. At 5:AM we dropped Nuga Bhagat to his house and returned to Ashram. The most surprising thing was that there were no expectations in his eyes of having some money for singing. He sang continuously like a true devotee and without any expectations in spite of hardly fulfilling needs to the family. ! Even when we firstly reached the ashram I showed expectations in the eyes of some monks. It was a pleasurable night for us. I enjoyed it fully with utmost satisfaction. Those times which had no transactions but without that we got memorable times. Every time in life we are calculating everything. But, I think we should leave some time like that where we forget to calculate and increase our values.. ?! Some day if we are not having an upgrade then nothing will change to our life. Remember that when we are in a difficult face of life then those memories are being souvenirs for us..Those moments when a human upgrade with human values are always calculated differently in our life by Nature.
Sometimes we should leave our daily calculations and allow Nature to do it for us. It will be invaluable and ultimate.
Those moments who are calculated can never provide satisfaction where those are without calculations always create satisfaction.
One day we were talking about the existence of “Shiva”. I think Shiva is the first soul, a first Light, a first drop and a main tone that is moving in the universe. Shiva is an element that can be moulded into any element. It can be wind, sky, water, fire or soil. Shiva is unborn. He doesn’t need to be born. Because one element which is an ultimate soul has no form. He can transfer into form himself to show us the existence. Which would be the first ‘Manirshi’ had imagined or experienced the form of Shiva.? How the way the drawing had been drawn by an artist.?! That would be an ultimate feeling. In India, many places are known as the land of Shiva. Ujjain, Himalayas and Girnar are those lands known to him. Even Ujjain is called a nucleus of the world by the Monks!
When we go to some natural place and we find great vibrations, a presence of Shiva is there in soil. By going somewhere in nature if we find an ultimate breathing, it is a presence of Shiva in the air. In Jungles where we find a wonderful sound of waterfalls, is a Shiva. He is also in the sky with dark clouds of monsoon. He is present in northern lights or in the volcanoes. The Shiva element is moving continuously in five elements. The CERN( European Organisation of Nuclear Research) had found something like the form of the ‘Nataraj’ during nuclear research. https://www.fritjofcapra.net/shivas-cosmic-dance-at-cern/
The form of Nataraj, the Shiva is a lord of destruction and creation. ‘Tandava’ is like a form of destruction. The destruction by the water or wind, there is Shiva there in tandava form. It is felt in the tremor of an earthquake and in falling lightning. From ages, he is moving in between us and has been worshipped by Human beings. I am surprised with today’s worship with processions and posters on advertising boards.!?
Shiva is the steady and ultimate flow, he doesn’t need to be prompted by human resources.
When Vastu was born. ? The earth is covered with directions and it is moving from west to east every day. Directions are steady for distracted world and for steady world, directions can move(By Babubhai Ranpura, my Guru). Vision is very important when moving in the right direction for anyone. In every sector direction is need full. How vastu shastra born before ages..?. Humans had been living by the use of five elements. At first they used naturally and now with some machines also. These five elements are sky, air, fire, water and earth. These five elements have been moving from their directions to gave breath, lights, peace(Water), nutrition(Earth) and thoughts(Sky). The home of humans were caves and elements naturally collide with those rocks to maintain the life of humans in the right direction.
When there would be the first human made structure of 90 degrees built to live?. Because Nature has never created any 90 degree angles. So the five elements were moving smoothly into the caves or homes before that and when the angles created by human made structures then something unnatural move found by those five elements. I think by that, the requirements of Vastu shastra realised. How that air would collide that first 90 degree angle?. How humid, sunlight, space of thoughts and greenery found something unusual to move from there?. Vastu is nothing more than a source of the five elements in any structure. If anyone is believed to make a structure like it then it’s going to be good for lives.
Everyone has a dream to have a beautiful home and peaceful life in that home. Many of them serious to make a good home plan which is suitable to Vastu shastra. But Can we ever have a thought of doing suitable or good for Vastu or directions. ! If directions can work for us then why not we ?! Human beings searching everything for the betterment of them but Humans should look for the betterment of nature or directions. Then it would be great for the Humans.
The corners in home are very important in the sense of Vastu Shastra and of our mind. We should give enough space to move those five elements and have a peaceful life.
Thank You So Much.. Everyone. I completed 50 blogs today. Thanks for the appreciation and love.
It is said that ‘I’ is always capital. But i think ‘N’ is always capital and that is of Nature. There is no other option of nature for human beings. Nature is unique and It’s greater than anyone. Every person has different human Nature and that reflects on his life. Nature has complete answers to our doubts, questions, unacceptable etc. Whenever the roads are closed of human strength , Nature start a path for them. For the self-examination, nature is an ultimate place. Those five elements always giving us everything that we need. Those five elements are common in nature and human nature. When they synchronised with each-other, we can have a continuous conversation with Nature. But Ego and pride is a big burden to our life. That overweight life has so much pain than a simple living.
Recently, after longtime i have gone to mountain ‘Girnar’. Every time by going there i feel close conversation with nature. When ego is flowing in our blood we even can’t accept Nature and Nature’s creations. People like that should try self-examination by going into Nature. Live there with less facilities for some days and we realise our existence. By climbing those almost ten thousand upstairs in ‘Girnar’ we can realise our capacity and how helpless we are!! Nature is convinced when fatigue is felt in the body. wherever we find space, we sit and take a rest. There is no need to have any kind of good furnishings ? If we understand then the place of taking rest becomes pilgrimage.Whenever the world of pride, ego or superstition is engulfed in life, one must examine oneself in nature. Many saints, monks do penance and examine their self by five elements of nature. They start to look continuously at the sun from rising to sunset. That travel by walking on earth creates some connection and by reaching that pilgrimage. For the worldly people, hiking is also a definition of self-mortification. It is not necessary to assimilate. Even youngsters going for trekking and adventure is a part of it and we would know our small positions or status in the lap of nature. May we walk barefoot on roads in summer?, climb those rocks without any support or can we stand in front of heavy waves.?
Nature is the best place for self-realisation to terminate ego and pride.
Thank you so much. Have a great new year ahead to everyone.
Life is a gift from Nature. Life lives between the sunrise and sunset. I always feel that the east horizon tells to every human being that the life is yours but fulfil someone’s life with few needs. In Hinduism we can read that our life has four stages which are described as ‘Ashram’. Those are Brahmcharya, Grihastashram, Vanprassthashram and Sanyas Ashram. No one can deny these stages of life and our responsibilities during that time.
A few weeks ago, I found one Video of young girl. She was nearly 16 years old and belonged to a very rich family. She is an only child of her parents. I came to know that the girl decided to leave her worldly life to be ascetic. The girl gave a speech with tears in her eyes and relatives were too. I felt so much pain in her voice. To understand or feel something, she was going to sacrifice her whole Life. It was painful for me to watch that. A young age girl who could study more and gain knowledge. She could be a housewife or social worker to help others who are not able to do something. She could use those earnings of her father to help someone for an education and made her parents feel proud.. !!
Is Sacrifice of a worldly Life to become a monk or hermit is the right way ?? Can anyone live a life with sanctity without being a monk ? I found many guys doing a great job for the societies and nature… They live for the society, do their jobs, protect nature and work as messengers for the humane Society. So, may we call them Worldly Monks?? The question is which way is the right one.?
I think our life has very important stages and to stick with each phase is our responsibility. Those young energies has to do a lot for societies, Nature, Policies. Inventions etc. I am not thinking only for India but in the world that young generation has enough potential to have a change for a better society.
A madness of wander in Nature become better than inactivity within those four walls.
Congratulations to everyone on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji.
The only thing which can completely turn-around from violence to non-violence, is Love.
When I was writing this, one name came to my mind that is alexander. who had madness for winning the world and he almost completed that but he could not win India. On his voyage, one time alexander was in Peshawar and stood at a corner besides a tree. A monk was sitting there on the corner and alexander came close and said to him that look…. I am alexander.!!. I won the world and the last I will win this nation too… and saint asked him what will you do after that..?? Alexander proudly replied that I will live ‘peacefully’ and happily after winning. Monk said that but I am living very ‘peacefully’ right now!!!!..
Alex did not have any answer for that.
Then he turned and said, I am the king… what can I do for you?!! – Saint said – do me a favour ..please go the other side with your horse.. because winter is on and I am here to take sunlight which is hidden by you right now!!! Alx could not believe the way of the monk and broke down completely.
And the light came in mind of alex and then he realized how many humans Killed to become a king of the world.??!!! And he got nothing more than this..!!!!!!?? He felt the guilt and he could not win India and died there. So the thing is there that by killing or violence and by killing a humans one can’t achieve that he want is peace..
But, when the ways of defending a country for a soldier is his duty and that’s why we can live peacefully in our homes. They are protecting us and a big respect to those every soldiers who are indirectly maintaining peace to live people like us. I think they are soldiers who are seeking peace and nonviolence more than anyone else.
Gandhiji also won the world with Love, Peace and Humanity.
Any Art is a subject of learning first. Any performer is first a learner than anything else. To learn something, one should have a large inner world. Many newcomers are not accepting those basic things from their mentors and they struggle a lot in future. An artist should be concerned about inner world than the outer world
Before few years, my father went to one painting exhibition in Mumbai. A big place and many well known artists came there for an inauguration. Some artists introduce my father to well known artists who has a big name in modern and contemporary art. During that time they had very healthy talk about abstract art and realism. From one of those artists criticised my father for his look.He told that Soniji, you don’t look like an artist with your simple formal dress and style. You should have some long beard, different hair style or dress like kurta-pajamas.?? He then pointed to a few artists who had some different hairstyles, different beard, some had ear rings. Look, every artist has some style for their looks. You don’t look different or Artist and you look like a layman !! My father politely answered that sir, here every artist has their special outlook where I am a simple man with only a formal wear..Am I look different from you all…??
Everything in art is an impression from your inner world. A look of any artist depends on his/her style of painting if they deeply involved in art…
A painting is an exterior look of any artist, they don’t need to paint themselves with different styles. Thank you So much.
What is Karma? Can anyone answer? The ages have passed, but no one has been born to define karma. It is estimated that karma is related to our earth element. A body of your nature dances always that’s unknown. It is a windy body where your nature is hidden. I believe that karma cannot be evaluated. Our karma is like nature that inside of us. How can one evaluate another’s karma even when he/she is not aware of his own karma? No one has never released from the bondage of karma.
No one could escape the bondage of karma and no one knows what this karma or obligation is?. It is a time when you have to show a knot and at the same time you have to play your role as a visionary. Who knows when giving a speech about karma or writing a two line, are they freed from the bondage of their karma? One is never free from karma. No-one has the strength to be free from it. Find a person who never has any problems in life!
Mostly, there is a point of an acceptance when we are running towards attainment.
Our life is generally divided into those three parts. A one is playing, the other is making and then retiring. Mostly, we think about the future and we work hard to make better than present. Hopes are with us always and there is no end of it. A top businessman always thinks about being with same flow till to the end of his life. An employee always look for the promotions, Where an artist always think about a better creation.!Life never stops from all these. We are covered with some responsibilities, Wishes and lots of hopes. Parents wants his son get married with a good girl and then should have a child within a few years, then grandchild’s study, his/her career etc.. Life is not always beats on a same rhythm. Sometimes we succeed to achieve and sometimes we are short of achieving enough from our perspective.
Life is a sea of wishes and hopes. But we manage to fill our life with those water puddles besides us. It is not about reacting those blank spaces, its’ for satisfying with filled spaces.
