The invisible Independence…..

India…. The land of variations with People, Nature, Cities and villages. For centuries, it has been ruled by kings from different regions. Everybody had a different ruling system and it had to be followed by the people. But one community is all above from there. They did not have any relations with people or Rulers. They have been making their path individually. They don’t care about who is the leader or a ruler of the country. They are fully concerned with nature, living with spirituality, meditation and they are Independent always. They are “Digambari” Saadhus(Monks whose dresses are Directions). They don’t have any interest in the outside world. These Monks are the unique identity of India.

Painting by Navin Soni , Bhuj-Gujarat

India has been ruled by the Britishers for many years.  People of India followed the rules and regulations. In that era these Digambari Saadhus never needed to follow any rules and regulations because they have never been attached to this world. They have been living in an inner world which is mysterious. They are living in the cavities of the Earth and don’t have any interest in showing their identity to people. Centuries and centuries gone but, they have been living with the same way and will live like that for centuries. This community looks inactive for the outer world but it’s not a fact because they continuously converse with Nature and maintain that balance in it. They know every step of Nature and manage those damages by every footsteps of Humans. They have been living in Independence because any rulers or leaders have never been able to find them. Any Power has not been able to make slaves or give freedom. Gold is like dust for them and they are free from any human compression. They left to wear apparels too, to live. They even live in the social world  like a normal human being to observe people and present mentality. Monks like these are living in the world and not only in India. They are all interconnected and India is a centre for them. My salutations to every such monk like that and India which is always independent.

A visible inactivity should not be observed by human compression. It has a mime performance which pronounces human activities..

Thank You So Much..

Happy Independence days to everyone.

Religion is from society, society is not from Religion…

In the beginning of human being how could religion have its existence ?How firstly, someone prayed or worshipped anywhere ? To any stone, in the cave by observing rocks, to the gap of tree trunk?. By what transparent thing on every surface where humans had used to pray to it and things worked for them?. How the way things have been working for human beings from the ages… !!?  Those times even though the centres of worship were small but it worked..  I think believing in an ultimate is working more than anything. Today, many cults have made hundreds of big centres for the Worship, but the belief of people has been reduced towards nature. They feel proud of their own capabilities of creating centres or big monuments..

Photo by me taken on the way of Girnar Parikrama Route…

Things are changed now.. Those times, saints or monks used to stay at some devotees’ homes and now many devotees stay at saints’ or monks’ places when they go away. Change is always a part of time but the things are really changed with partiality. I heard about a matter that happened with one of our family friends. They went to a place  which was popular for devotees. They reached there and asked for the room. The guy in the office gave keys without having a look into them.  The room was not really clean but they could adjust there with some less facilities. After a few times they went to worship where they met monks and talked sometime. Eventually monks came to know that they recommended to stay there by one of the main trusties and the room changed with more facilities suddenly.. !!?. Many rooms were available there and it was surprising to see that attitude towards them.. !!  They also  came to know that my friend was from outside India and he could contribute more in trust to develop that place. Our family friend felt that how the way things changed for them when they found a wealthy family by one cult ? ! Though families who are staying there have some responsibilities during the stay but it should not divide by the wealth of devotees.   Maybe not all cults or places have the same attitude but I heard that many religious places have this kind of theories to handle the guests. For the find of wealth they forget a way of religion. Religion has nothing with these types of transactions. It is miles away from there.

What is Religion is a big question from decades. I think Religion is still there from the ages. It has never changed its place. It has no discrimination, partiality, transactions, business or any other thing like that.

If we can understand the way of one element of nature, then the true definition of Religion will be known.

Thank You So Much..

The calculations without transactions…

Update and up gradation is a natural clock of our life. Even if we are doing nothing in a day we feel something up for once in a day. We feel that things are really going fast and this fastness always pushes us to do better and get better the day after tomorrow. In the update we always miss some wonderful moments of our life from the past. Some college students miss school days, school children miss childhood days, some married miss single days 😀 .

Photo by me of Mountain Girnar

At one time I had been to Girnar with some friends. Friends need to shut some places in Girnar for the documentary film. I was there as a much familiar person to Girnar. I was just 20 years old and not much of a busy person that time and even today too. I take those chances to go out in nature and feel better. We reached there in the evening and went to one aashram. Those saints welcomed us and we put our bags in a room. We took dinner and went to meet the chief monk. We had some spiritual talks about Girnar and understood the way of their cult. Suddenly the other monks called the chief for some prayer and they joined to sing at one corner there. Music touches me a lot and the effect without any loudspeakers is always precious. They were singing and we enjoyed some time. There was an older person with us on that trip and we decided to bring one folk singer Nugaa Bhagat of Junagadh. We knew each other for more than a year. We called him after 10:PM and requested him to sing for us that night. He said yes without any hesitations and took him to ashram  by our car. There were no instruments, no Microphone, no lights but only a tone of Nugaa Bhagat. He has his “Ektaro” (one string instrument) with him always. He sang with it there. He sang the whole night till 4 A.M. Four monks and we three sat there to hear those ultimate tones. Girnar was in the background and it was the rainy season. At 5:AM we dropped Nuga Bhagat to his house and returned to Ashram. The most surprising thing was that there were no expectations in his eyes of having some money for singing. He sang continuously like a true devotee and without any expectations in spite of hardly fulfilling needs to the family. ! Even when we firstly reached the ashram I showed expectations in the eyes of some monks. It was a pleasurable night for us. I enjoyed it fully with utmost satisfaction. Those times which had no transactions but without that we got memorable times. Every time in life we are calculating everything. But, I think we should leave some time like that where we forget to calculate and increase our values.. ?! Some day if we are not having an upgrade then nothing will change to our life. Remember that when we are in a difficult face of life then those memories are being souvenirs for us..Those moments when a human upgrade with human values are always calculated differently in our life by Nature.

Sometimes we should leave our daily calculations and allow Nature to do it for us. It will be invaluable and ultimate.

Those moments who are calculated can never provide satisfaction where those are without calculations always create satisfaction.

Thank You So much.

The Unconditional Humanity…..

Donations… We are much familiar with this word now. Everyone know the meaning and necessary of it. In my school times I thought it’s something like punishment for those who get poor marks and by that they get admission into some colleges. There are always conditions in every transaction and it’s also in donations. Someone wants to get an admission by donations. Someone wants popularity by donations and someone has interest in rumours. Though Some industrialists are doing a great job by helping the poor for their betterment. Those who have enough money for the donations are always usual but those who don’t have much money and source helping others ,are unusual. ‘Donation’ is a very formalist word for them. ‘Help’ is a very nice word to describe their lives.

Painting by me…

I am talking about a great artist of Ahmadabad who was a simple and very kind-hearted man. He was an artist from C.N College of fine arts. His name is Mr. K.R. Yadav. He was a professor in C.N Fine Arts and my father was a student that time in between 1980’s. My father was aware about his style , simplicity, and the kind nature of Yadav sir. He came with his bicycle every day. He always cared about their students and Whenever he got his salary at the end of month, he used to write on the bulletin board that ‘If any student does not have money to pay the fee, he should come to me ! He paid fees for many students. Despite being a family-man, he lived like that. Sometimes missing a few bucks for his house expenses, he went to his artist friend to have some money. Though he used to talk with that friend about some other things, It was understandable for that artist and he used to give some rupees to Yadav sir. They know about each other’s condition, unconditionally. He was very much a tea lover and used to go to one tea stall on the opposite side of C.N. College. The tea seller knew about Yadav sir’s kind nature and was like a friend of his. He would never take rupees for tea from sir ?  How that tea man would not even take money from him ! Because he used to understand him unconditionally. That great chain was key to throbbing the city. We hardly find these throbbing characters in cities now. Such characters who try to fill someone’s life by liveness are a form of blessings and may nature continue to shower such blessings.

Cities are not known for their cars running in the twinkling lights of the dark knight, but for such characters who illuminate in the darkness of the day.

Thank You So Much..

The Light on Colourless mentality…

From the ages, slavery is a part of human existence. In humanity, there should not be severance of slaves and kings. One society always struggles to survive their existence. They become slaves of the high society or much powerful people. There are a lot of examples of how kings killed people of the other region to become a king. I never understand  the actual reason for imperialism. It is for people or only for the attitude..?? It should not only be for the authority, it’s for the solutions. But that dark disposition continued in the imperialism. There is misuse of power and position from centuries.

watercolour by Navin Soni, Bhuj-India

Over the years, some communities suffered a lot in the time of slavery. That can not be imagined how they survived in that period.. The blackout on the surface of mind created a lot of troubles for some people. The difference of colours was noticed from the darkness that was covered in the mind. It is always more important to observe fair than fairness.  Attempts were made to identify the colours by the psyche.Though some people from the power knew and understand the truth of tones and they supported to those communities. It is never possible to understand or know the tones in the darkness. That darkness reflected on the struggling society and they became resistant. Few of them turned into a way of crime.

Colours are scattered everywhere in nature. There are deep tones and light tones in every corner of the world together. That togetherness creates a beautiful world. Whenever I paint something I always put opposite colours on the palette together. I mix opposite colours and that produces rhythm to my paintings.

It has changed a lot in democracy where everyone lives, plays and celebrates together but still sometimes, that attitude reflects and we see protests and agitations. We hope that someday this blackout will get the sunlight on it then that will be a different world with pure vision.

An eye has a power to see colours in the other’s eyes. It should not be use to discrimination about the colours.

Thank you so much…

The Nature of Classification

Life is formed by people. Gatherings are always precious whether it’s a common man or so called celebrities, but not for these days. I surprise when people are divided into class by their income. In the exchange  method early in the beginning of transactions, they had less different categories.By the time, it has been smoothly categorised. Now by income, we have been called poor, lower class, middle class, upper class or Rich. When currencies came into transactions, the importance of exchanges reduced. Those emotions of giving are nowhere and the joy of exchange was there. Then Land, homes, grains have been measured by money. In the modern era of transactions it was only for the requirements  but after that it has taken the form of power and position.

Painting by Navin Soni, Bhuj-India

Middle class… When I heard this word from the people, it produced some insulting vibrations…Why should we not be able to forget this class system and go for the better society scenario for future generations? I belonged to a family that had average income years ago, now we have some more income to live with more facilitated life. I know many families who are working hard to manage their monthly expenses. In every situation of disaster the most suffering people are from there. Think about one common man who earns 25,000 INR with honesty. Rarely, he takes a chance to enjoy with his family and he never gets concerns, appreciations from his work by the people where artists, musicians, sportsperson, actors get. There are many families like this living in metro cities. In any situation of pandemic like this, they suffer a lot to fulfil their requirements. These are the people who are boosting the economy of the country when they have to struggle for their own economy. They become shareholders of the multinational industries and pay taxes to the government. They know their family responsibility and have one to two kids, where those people have six to eight kids because of no education and will not be able to provide education to their children. It’s not on the basis of religion but about society. Mostly, those people get concerns from government, media, organisations for the donations. The man who is honest for his work, most of them are addiction free, getting less concern for the help where in  every situation poor people get help from organisations, government funds or by the rich people. I think communism  should be applied on this route. If we forget these things in socialism of different classes then a lot of changes will be in concern. This time is for those who have been able to earn more in recent years and know or remember those families who sicks some help. It’s all about knowing this difficult time and by concern to others we will have a responsible society in future.

The class is never dependent on earnings, it depends on the nature of an individual.

Thank You So much

Art is a gift given by Nature..

Being artistic and being an artist are two different things. There is never a dominion of an artist on art. Art is always a mother of an artist. It is like a child in the lap of a mother and she/art is moving her hands on the head of the artist/child. I always feel that artists are never self taught. They learn by observing others or nature. Music is nearer to nature. Every form of art is borne from nature and that first tone is very important. Whenever you go to the root of an art it would be nature. When one is going to learn any art form then the firstly, one should try to gain knowledge about it. Musicians should listen to other artists, painters and sculptors should read and observe the master pieces, writers need to read others ‘ words. Actors and dancers should look at plays and performances. Every artist is inspired by others’ work and they get more strength in their field.

Painting by Artist Navin Soni (Ashtanayika painting series)

There are never any shortcuts to achieve in art. Today, many youngsters look at art as a thing of earning or a very easy task. They are looking for shortcuts. They are doing a few sketches and made a label of an ‘artist’ behind them. They post their work or performance on social media and get appreciation of  some poor work! Suddenly, they are at the top of the world and they don’t look at their weaknesses. They forget to have a self-examination on their work or performance and gain overconfidence. Even very talented and experienced artists post their work continuously to gaining appreciation. They also know that their level of work goes down compared to their old work! But they find a good way to deceive themselves. They earn enough by art but that’s not an art all about making a lot of money. Those are different things of doing a business and doing an Art.

Art has no relation with arrogance. Many artists behave very strangely and proudly to people! ? They behave differently with their family too to express their artistic life and they forget of being a family man.  A local but the great artist of Kutch Mr. LC Soni always guided with few lines that dear artists, “Be human first than artist”. There should be humanity inside you before your art. Otherwise, there will be no difference between you and hooligan. An artist never known for his work or performance only but it is wearing a dress of homeliness or obedience.

Art is not a cup of tea for every person of the world, it’s a sea of emotions to connect with people and set a perfect milieu for everyone. In my case, I will learn and learn for the lifetime in art.

On the day when you forget to calculate that received in art, something is learned by the supernatural.

Thank You So Much

Nature for education and Nature of education…

In every aspect of life, we are learning something new. We educate us in a different role. Sometimes of life, of any subject, art, driving, in a career etc. We can be well educated but not anyone can be fully educated even by the end of life. In every zone there is a different system to study and learn. The most valuable study is from the innocent age when we go to school. Observation is the main key to learn something. Our ancestors observed first and then applied to their routine. By that they started to find solutions to problems. They innovated some invaluable things without any school. There was only one teacher and it was “Nature” .

Painting by Navin R Soni

From the ages in Hindu sanskriti there has been a system of study from gurukul. ‘Sandipani’ ashram is the best example of it. In those times, students used to come from their home for a few terms and learned by staying there at ashram. They learnt by sitting under the tree and connecting with  soil. It’s amazing where the results were only seen in the eyes of gurus by their marking and not marks. Maybe there was no mathematics like today. They taught about shooting, languages, astronomy, yantras, mantras, tantra, different mathematics, science etc. The conversation of learning and teaching was in the proximity of nature. That’s why there was no burden of getting highest marks and being at top or bottom. Now, education has been changed totally. Air condition buildings, semesters, materials, books, exams, academies etc. Though the education system has a lot of issues, students should utilise their smooth efforts to study. Getting knowledge from study is more important than getting marks. Many students fears a lot during exams and takes stupid step of suicide !? How!? Exams are more important than life?. Even life is not an exam which can give you a certificate. It’s only filled with lessons. We can have great examples where one girl becomes an IAS topper or CA topper who is living in slums! A great respect for those who are studying hard to achieve something in life. Some have no smartphones, no ac classrooms, without study rooms achieved a lot from their learning. Those who have failed in exams and felt like losing a world should take inspiration from them.

Students in those times when an education took in gurukul by the imminent nature. There was no disappointment in the process of learning. The spoken words by gurus were first dropped on the leaves of the trees and then to the ears of students. So here it is much different from there. Hope this difference may be reduced by the coming tutors or students to achieve new heights of education.

Education is not the slave of facilities, it’s a learning process by interchange between nature and human nature for a better tomorrow.

Thank You so much.

The Nature of Food-Culture….

Wild life is very close to nature. This cycle of nature has everything that controls the balance for life. Normally earth is rotating on its own ground . The channel of human, wild life, animals is continuously running. Humans are called human because they have a sense of innovation and search for a better life for every cuss. For the ages have gone human has a theory of having food from nature. Those animals living in nature have a better understanding of this balance. I think the first food for our ancestors or animals would be grass. It was naturally grown and eaten by humans and animals.  The combination of thirsty creatures and carnivores in nature provides an enough balance. A big question is there that humans were carnivorous? By seeing those animals having carnivorous nature humans tried to do like them?! The less sense about having perfect food at that time. Then time went by and humans knew about agriculture. By farming humans got grain, vegetables and fruits.

Painting by Navin R Soni

There are two types of mind in people. One is natural and the other is against nature. I think man was never grown for being a non vegetarian. Agriculture was invented by man and that was the main invention by human beings on earth. It was by nature or nature friendly. When Heron is having a fish for food it is natural, but when a man eats a live fish,it’s unnatural. It looks precious when we see nature and wildlife on television or on the spot. At one side those photographers who spend hours and hours for one click of beautiful birds and the other side who are eating those beautiful alive birds like evils. How distortion is there in that.? Any cuss who is doing an unnatural thing is not acceptable for Nature. Even the fact is the non vegetarians are eating dead bodies whether they accept it or not. Now a big question about health is coming on a way for humans. One country is suffering now a days from their eating etiquette and maybe  other countries would suffer from it. Earth is giving something to every continent or nation. Every nation has an opportunity for agriculture and can have good food. Many people are changing their eating etiquette from Non-Vegetarian to Vegan and we appreciate them. In India some monks who are living in jungles of Girnar(Gir), Himalayas or in the other forest area have abilities of getting energy and enough nutrition from the leaves.?!! So, No one can have answer that some countries has less sources for agriculture and they are non-vegetarian by nature. The time will tell the stories of food culture of a particular country when they will need to change.

The ecosystem depends on Nature so there is no place for human deterioration.

Thank you so much

The clicks without cropped …

The light is a source of our vision. Naturally we see the light in yellowish or reddish tones but it has been of seven colours. By capturing this light by our eyes we can see and feel those emotions. Emotions of nature and human nature. Eyes are the main sense that capture perfect colours from nature and we can feel that colourful world.

Painting by me…

In today’s world, people have those assembled eyes on smartphones. I often goes to feel those beautiful colours in Nature. I see people gathered for enjoy and have some good time  there. Once, I went on a short trip near my town. A group was there to a picnic spot. Everyone got busy with their smartphones and cameras to capture images. Those 5 by 3 inches machines captured videos and images very smartly. After the end of the day, we get back to our bus and everyone was busy to see their phone clicks. There were more selfies than nature . I found few guys were discussing about that place and went their without assembled smart eyes. They found a beautiful place near to that spot and enjoyed by capturing with  real eyes. Everybody was wondering that why they hadn’t notice anything like that?. Do they really enjoyed or they went there to capture only photographs?!?. Some people never enjoy by being there and they get excited about taking photos and sharing later. Many of them even taking photos for their social media sites !?. They never feel where they are. Though taking photos is always precious for memories and we should have few clicks, but capturing images by our eyes are always has great remarks emotionally. An assembled eyes of smartphones has never those emotions that we get from our own eyes. Someone who visit places like this should spend one day without clicks. I am sure they will find a great pleasing moments without capturing.

Moments and places should never captured in frames, it has a lot of uncropped images that can change our lives.

Those dampness between eyelashes has always better emotions than assembled clicks.

Thank you so much…
