Life is a gift from Nature. Life lives between the sunrise and sunset. I always feel that the east horizon tells to every human being that the life is yours but fulfil someone’s life with few needs. In Hinduism we can read that our life has four stages which are described as ‘Ashram’. Those are Brahmcharya, Grihastashram, Vanprassthashram and Sanyas Ashram. No one can deny these stages of life and our responsibilities during that time.
A few weeks ago, I found one Video of young girl. She was nearly 16 years old and belonged to a very rich family. She is an only child of her parents. I came to know that the girl decided to leave her worldly life to be ascetic. The girl gave a speech with tears in her eyes and relatives were too. I felt so much pain in her voice. To understand or feel something, she was going to sacrifice her whole Life. It was painful for me to watch that. A young age girl who could study more and gain knowledge. She could be a housewife or social worker to help others who are not able to do something. She could use those earnings of her father to help someone for an education and made her parents feel proud.. !!
Is Sacrifice of a worldly Life to become a monk or hermit is the right way ?? Can anyone live a life with sanctity without being a monk ? I found many guys doing a great job for the societies and nature… They live for the society, do their jobs, protect nature and work as messengers for the humane Society. So, may we call them Worldly Monks?? The question is which way is the right one.?
I think our life has very important stages and to stick with each phase is our responsibility. Those young energies has to do a lot for societies, Nature, Policies. Inventions etc. I am not thinking only for India but in the world that young generation has enough potential to have a change for a better society.
A madness of wander in Nature become better than inactivity within those four walls.
Life is all about bringing needs and fulfil dreams.. Dreams that we see with open eyes. Todays we often find every other person who has not enough sleep to achieve their dreams. Someone is not being able to sleep due to stress or too much pending work. In my case, I can’t sleep early because of thinking about art, culture, writing etc. The most important thing is when we grow up and we apply that grown up ability in our daily life. Though needs are needs and we should achieve that. But by thinking about dreams with an open eyes are affects our sweet dreams of night. One night I was in a deep thinking about art. It was late at 2:AM and I couldn’t sleep for more than one hour. Suddenly, I sat on a swing, started swinging it and all the thoughts were stopped and I slept deeply in few minutes.
Many times we think too much about our business, future and we forget to live in the present. A little child who has nothing to think about anything. Children sleep in cradle in a few seconds and someone who is matured needs the whole night. Insomnia is now we found more in adults than never and because they don’t stop their mind in positive thinking or negative. Young adults and teenagers suffering from insomnia due to depression and smartphones. It’s a really serious matter that those young guys not taking enough sleep due to negative thoughts or depression and by that they damage their physical health after some years. Taking a sleeping tablets are really harmful to our minds and we damaged our memory by that. Everyone who is suffering from insomnia should try a hammock or cradle which was our first connection of sleep!
Sometimes being a little child creates a great maturity for living a life.
This is the festival of navratri. The longest festival. Every festival of any country reflects its art and culture. Art and culture defined by the people. In my opinion, Life is a longest festival. We are eager to celebrate and struggle a bit between eagarness and celebrations.
A festival of Navratri is now very popular across the world. It’s a festival of nine nights. I thought about how this celebration has changed in modern times?? It was all about worship of our goddess and the feast of adoration. It was the festival of Garba. Some women met in the square near their homes. They did worship of our Goddess and played garba. Garba is an art of playing with rhythm in circularly(Perambulate). They sang together, clapped and create the ‘laya’. What would be an incredible sweetness on those sounds !! ? They never needed any heavy drums or speakers to play but the rhythm had been created by their claps, Garba sung by women and playing circularly were everything together.!? The rhythm from their claps and sounds from their singing was wonderful to hear. It was a divine noise created to worship. Everyone naturally could get the rhythm in their play. The ultimate joy was also there.!
May this festival is a worship of our mother earth?? Who can know about this.?? Somebody has written that a Garba is a symbol of the universe. Is it the perambulate of the universe. !!
Now, the whole scenario has changed. This festival has taken a form of business. The loud speakers causing noise pollution. No worship and more drama to win competitions!?? By remembering those steps taught by dance masters they actually forget to dance naturally. Following those steps are not the worship or adoration. The joy of playing is better than following the steps.
Festivals came from a small celebrations to love, respect and have faith in God.Those festivals which were the identity of our culture is now hidden by the way of our celebrations. Thank you so much.
Any Art is a subject of learning first. Any performer is first a learner than anything else. To learn something, one should have a large inner world. Many newcomers are not accepting those basic things from their mentors and they struggle a lot in future. An artist should be concerned about inner world than the outer world
Before few years, my father went to one painting exhibition in Mumbai. A big place and many well known artists came there for an inauguration. Some artists introduce my father to well known artists who has a big name in modern and contemporary art. During that time they had very healthy talk about abstract art and realism. From one of those artists criticised my father for his look.He told that Soniji, you don’t look like an artist with your simple formal dress and style. You should have some long beard, different hair style or dress like kurta-pajamas.?? He then pointed to a few artists who had some different hairstyles, different beard, some had ear rings. Look, every artist has some style for their looks. You don’t look different or Artist and you look like a layman !! My father politely answered that sir, here every artist has their special outlook where I am a simple man with only a formal wear..Am I look different from you all…??
Everything in art is an impression from your inner world. A look of any artist depends on his/her style of painting if they deeply involved in art…
A painting is an exterior look of any artist, they don’t need to paint themselves with different styles. Thank you So much.
What is Karma? Can anyone answer? The ages have passed, but no one has been born to define karma. It is estimated that karma is related to our earth element. A body of your nature dances always that’s unknown. It is a windy body where your nature is hidden. I believe that karma cannot be evaluated. Our karma is like nature that inside of us. How can one evaluate another’s karma even when he/she is not aware of his own karma? No one has never released from the bondage of karma.
No one could escape the bondage of karma and no one knows what this karma or obligation is?. It is a time when you have to show a knot and at the same time you have to play your role as a visionary. Who knows when giving a speech about karma or writing a two line, are they freed from the bondage of their karma? One is never free from karma. No-one has the strength to be free from it. Find a person who never has any problems in life!
Mostly, there is a point of an acceptance when we are running towards attainment.
Our life is generally divided into those three parts. A one is playing, the other is making and then retiring. Mostly, we think about the future and we work hard to make better than present. Hopes are with us always and there is no end of it. A top businessman always thinks about being with same flow till to the end of his life. An employee always look for the promotions, Where an artist always think about a better creation.!Life never stops from all these. We are covered with some responsibilities, Wishes and lots of hopes. Parents wants his son get married with a good girl and then should have a child within a few years, then grandchild’s study, his/her career etc.. Life is not always beats on a same rhythm. Sometimes we succeed to achieve and sometimes we are short of achieving enough from our perspective.
Life is a sea of wishes and hopes. But we manage to fill our life with those water puddles besides us. It is not about reacting those blank spaces, its’ for satisfying with filled spaces.
Before few years, I went to one inauguration function where lots of well known personalities had been there. After all the welcome speeches, one very famous person gave his speech on that special occasion. He spoke about that special event and human relations.People listened to him and they got tears in their eyes. When he completed his speech, people gave a standing ovation to him.
After a few days later, one of our close friends went to his house for another invitation. He wanted to invite for a speech on that special occasion. He welcomed him and they sat on a well furnished sofas. An old woman came in the drawing room and served a water to both. Then he told that old woman to go inside with the hint. They talked and confirmed about a fees he generally charges for a speech. When my friend left his home, he indirectly known that an old woman was his mother.?!! A friend was very surprised to see a difference of that personality. He cancelled that event and later he organised an event with different perspectives.
Some Relations are not the slave of your mask, they are identifications of eyes from life to death.
One day ,we went to a gathering of friends and relatives. A dinner organised there. Varieties of food items available and everyone was busy to full their dishes by putting every food item into it. I found that another counter with some chips and other items.. almost eight items were there on that counter.. After sometime one friend met us and they went to that different counter and took most food items in his dish. I got that a counter was for food who had a fast on that day and they were eating more than fast-food. It was food of fast and eat like fast-food. That friend came to us and told that it was his “fast day” with a smile. I was surprised to see that the quantity of food he was taken to his dish!?. In the end, he left some food and happily had a fast.
So many times I have seen like this and having a question that what is important??. Doing fast like that or having a perfect lunch after delivering food to poor people who can’t afford that? I think, one who deliver food for poor people has no need to do any fast. Some organisations does a great job without any trademarks of religion. They know and apply a religion of human.
Recently, I watched a movie ‘into the wild’,which is made from a book written by Jon Krakauer. A movie where one guy who had given $25,000 in savings to charity, abandoned his car and most of his possessions, burned all the cash in his wallet, and invented a new life for himself.
Now a day, our presence is counted by position, status and more earning abilities by the end of the month. Our life is lived with those human values which we can’t buy with money.Trust, Love, true friendships, faith, knowledge etc. Some very successful people keep a price tag of every other person in his mind. Money is important but not at the expense of humanity or human values. A one man in our town had only one goal to achieve more luxurious life at any cost. He suffered a lot during that time.He bought expensive bikes and phones and made big house with all facilities. By the time, now there is no value of his presence at any events. He achieved something big in his way but very less are interested to meet him and spend some time. The impression of man created rumours about him and he has no value of his presence without pocket.
A one guy who left everything to have a new life for himself and the other side a guy achieved everything for himself at the cost of human values. I think both ways of living or understanding a life is not proper.Life is all about Togetherness, Responsibilities, Trust, Love and faith in the Nature. Thank you so much.
We often think to grow our business or have a more proper job for the future. In any case we want to achieve more and more success in life. But for someone who lives in the caves, they don’t need to achieve anything or they achieved something more than everything??!!One day, I went to a deep jungle in Girnar. There was a guide with us and he took us to one amazing place.(kala ghuna). A saint was there and he welcomed us by calling “Aadesh”(Aadi+Ish, a lord from the ages).
He made a black lemon tea for us and seated. I and our guide talked with him for a few minutes and during that talk my father made a pencil sketch of him. After all, my father gave him that sketch and waited for the reaction. He was really in question about himself and asked us that he looks like it.? There was no mirror in his place and he never looked at the mirror from when he stayed there in that jungle. So he forget how he looked. Father wanted to give his sketch to him and request to keep his sketch. But he calmly said that but how’s this useful to me.? I need to put this somewhere to save. Please keep with you, what will I do of my sketch? We were surprised to see that immediate reactions. Someone who doesn’t need any mirror to see himself, he just reach to the river and observe their reflections there. By the mirror in the home, we can be well prepared, but for the reflections of yourself we should go to the nature and try to observe yourself. Thank you so much.
